Julian Gollop working in Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Lead the Ghosts for Nintendo 3DS?
Following an article in Gamasutra about a licensed "milk-the-cow" 50's retro-look X-Com game title in development, Julian Gollop announced in comments section that he is working in a turn-based title for Nintendo 3DS. Julian since 2007 works at Ubisoft Sofia (Bulgaria) and Tiny Cartridge suspects that the project well maybe be Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Lead the Ghosts (not really final and confirmed title) that is announced being developed at Ubisoft Sofia and I totally agree with that theory. Let's face it, by the look the game seems a "clone" of former Rebelstar Tactical Command for Nintendo DS. Game is still in early development and yet without release date. Also is not officially confirmed Gollop's connection but I think that soon the doubts will probably clarified.
Note: Julian Gollop is no way related with the 50's X-Com version in development.
The future of Laser Squad Nemesis
More than 6 years passed since Laser Squad Nemesis was released and Julian Gollop announced his plans for this game. So, for the faithful players delight he proposed make the game free and deliver the game server (and the forum) to the community. For now new subscriptions are suspended. This also means the ending of "official" support and that CoDo game studio is about to shut down after the swap is made.
LSN is (almost) dead, so long life to LSN in his newest incarnation.
